Jason Goodell of 99 Carroll Street, Paterson arrested on Dog fighting and other animal cruelty charges


January 23, 2007- Paterson, NJ
New Jersey State SPCA Officers today, working in conjunction with the Paterson Police Department and the Passaic County Sheriff's Dept arrested Jason Goodell of 99 Carroll Street, Paterson on Dog fighting and other animal cruelty charges. Goodell, 29 resides at 99 Carroll Street, Paterson. State SPCA Officers, Paterson Police and Passaic County Sheriff's officers responded to a call of pit bulls fighting at the Carroll St address. Goodell was arrested and charged and the owner of the building, Arthur Codner, of Newhampton, NY was also charged with promoting Animal Fighting. One of the Pit Bulls was severely injured and was rushed by Paterson Animal Control to a local veterinarian for treatment.
