Ms. Carolyn Teryek of South Bound brook pleads Guilty to “Abandon a Domesticated Animal"

5/15/07: Ms. Carolyn Teryek of South Bound brook NJ brought a small white dog into the Franklin Township Animal Shelter.
Ms. Carolyn Teryek said she found the dog on a highway. After an investigation, the local ACO found that the dog had a microchip in planted into it. The search results came back to Ms. Carolyn Teryek. After some time it became apparent that Ms. Carolyn Teryek was trying to abandon her dog in another town.
On June 6, 2007 in the Franklin Township (Somerset County) Court MS. Carolyn Teryek of South Bound brook plead Guilty to “Abandon a Domesticated Animal". She was fined $1,000.00 plus $162.40 Restitution to the NJSPCA Total = $1,162.40. The Judge ordered that she surrender the dog to the Local ACO.
