Ben Hamm of Raymondville NY found guilty of animal cruelty

5/26/07 1400 Hrs, Sgt, Murray Rothblatt received a call from ACO Beth Comitas, that St Huberts Animal Shelter, had a dog that had been locked in a car.

“The Facts” , Ben Hamm, Raymondville NY while in Bound Brook NJ had his dog locked in a car when the outside temperature was 85 degrees. The dog was rescued by the BBPD and St Huberts Animal Shelter.

After a investigation, I arrested Mr. Hamm as he was an out of State resident. He was held on $2,500.00 Bail.

On June 28, 2007 in Bound Brook Court he was found guilty of animal cruelty and was fined $1,000.00 plus $200.40 restitution to the NJSPCA for a total $1,200.40.
