August 07, 2007 and August 21, 2007 - Bound Brook, NJ
On August 7, 2007 at 1:50 pm Mr. Frances Callahan of Doylestown Pa, locked his Bijou dog unattended in a vehicle under inhumane conditions.
A witness called the NJSCPA and Sgt Murray Rothblatt was dispatched to the location where the witness informed him that the dog was in the car for 40 minutes. The outside temperature from a certified weather report was 83 degree F at 2:00 pm. The temperature in the car was 100 degrees F.
A summons was issued to Mr. Frances Callahan. On August 21.2007 in Bridgewater Municipal Court Mr. Frances Callahan pled guilty to cruelty and paid a $1,000.00 fine plus $260.60 Restitution to the NJSPCA. Total paid $1,260.60
