Mr. Thomas G Burdak plead guilty to cruelty

January 11th, 2008 and February 20, 2008

On January 11, 2008 Agent Michael Kruce was dispatched to the home of Mr.Thomas G Burdak where he found 2 dogs, a cat and no one home. With the assistance of LTC Goldberg and after 2 days of phone calls we finally met with homeowner. He stated that he had moved in November, and left animals, 2 beagles, and 1 cat, at location. He would come and feed them on a daily basis but there were no utilities on at the home. Obtaining a certified weather report, the temperatures during a week in December had an overnight low of 12 degrees. I issued 6 summonses for “Failure to provide living animal proper shelter”. On February 20, 2008 in Winslow Twp Municipal Court, Mr. Burdak plead guilty to cruelty, and was fined $1875 and $213 restitution to the NJSPCA for a total of $2088.
